She was born October 23, 1941, in Oneonta, the daughter of the late Donald and Geraldine (Timewell) Hulbert. Sandra married James N. Faulkner on June 30, 1972. James predeceased her on January 3, 1996.
Sandra was employed by the Beech-Nut Corporation in Canajoharie as a machine operator for many years. She was also a member of the Laurens American Legion Auxiliary. Sandra always placed family first and tried to make sure everyone, young & old were well taken care in sickness & health. Sandra enjoyed spending time in her home visiting with all that came by. She would visit with her siblings whenever possible. Sandra also enjoyed the years that we all spent camping at the family pond. She enjoyed our daily discussions about what was going on in our lives as we were separated by distance. She was a mom to everyone she touched. Christmas Eve & Easter gatherings were very important to her and we will never forget the pies. She lived her life her way and would always find a way to make us laugh. Sandra was the strongest person most of us will know, in such a sweet little package.
She is survived by her children Michael Streeter and his wife Rhonda of LeRoy, NY, James Faulkner III, and Timothy Faulkner of Oneonta; brother Donald Hulbert and his wife Patricia of Laurens; sister Pricilla Galbreth of Laurens; brother-in-law, Ronald Wykoff and her sister-in-law Brenda Hulbert; she is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Samantha, Amanda, Sarah Sue, Alayna, Charlene, Teresa, P.J., and Jessica, as well as 11 loving great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Sandra was predeceased by her brothers, Charles Hulbert, Ceylon Hulbert, and Paula Wykoff.
