Laural June Laurie "Laurie" (Young) Hill

She was born December 11, 1967 in Oneonta the daughter of the late Francis H. and Anna Mae (Watson) Young.

Laurie was a dog breeder of miniature pinchers. She loved her dogs. But Laurie’s greatest joy in life was her son, Dominic.

Laurie is survived by her son, Dominic Hill Young of Unadilla; siblings, Sharon Young, LaVerne Young, Lawrence Young, Darrell Young, Linda Young, Ronald Young, Deborah Sanchez, Karen Anderson and Cindy Young; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2015 in the Bookhout Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oneonta from 1:00 to 3:00PM. Burial will be held at a later date in the West Oneonta Cemetery. Memorial donations in Laurie’s name may be made to Catskill Area Hospice & Palliative, Care, Inc., 1 Birchwood Drive, Oneonta, New York 13820.
