He was and will always be the epitome of compassion, tolerance, perseverance, and integrity to us and

those who knew him. Inspired by his principled existence, we will aspire to continue our lives with the

same level of love and conviction that he embraced.

Jamie is survived by his wife of 41 years, Janet Powers, and two children, the lights of his life, Jack and

Sadie Potter as well as his mother, Shirley Ingraham, , sisters Gayl Tyler (Nick) and Lynn Lawrence

(Bill), brother DJ Potter, mother-in-law Betty Powers, brother-in-law Geoffrey Powers, and sister-in-

Law, Beth Ludens (Jerry). He will also be missed by numerous nieces and nephews, and friends and

acquaintances whose lives he touched throughout 37 years as a local business owner at Pie-in-the Sky.

The family invites you to celebrate his life at calling hours on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 from 5-8 at the

Bookhout Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oneonta, NY.
