He was born December 18, 1962 in Rochester, New York.
He was predeceased by his grandmother, Barbara Boone, father, Jack E. Seeley, Sr., and uncle, David Falcone.
Jack is survived by his fiancé, Karen Gage; granddaughter, Caitlyn Capps Finger Whathey who they raised as their own; his mother, Dorena (Young) Lawyer; siblings, Laurie Seeley, John (Lynette) Cahill, Daryl (Kandi) Cahill, Tracy (Brian) Jacobsen; step father, William Lawyer; sons, Jack Seeley (Jack, Micahel, Douglas), David Seeley, Thomas (Candice) Seeley (Alysia, Zivah) and Daniel Seeley; bonus daughters and grandchildren, Samantha (Clayton) Chickerell (Caitlyn, Chloe, Chris, Haiyley, Hayden), Virginia Capps (Joshua, Onyka, Zayleigh) Crystal Capps (James, Ashlynn); as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends.
For 30 years, Jack was a truck driver the last 22 of them working at Stericycle in Oneonta. Prior to becoming a truck driver he had a career in carpentry. He had a strong work ethic from a young age and was always a hard worker.
Jack had a love for sports which he played throughout his school years. Bowling was #1. He was in the Daily Star at 22 years old for bowling his 4th 300 game in six months.
Jack met the love of his life in August of 2000 which gave him a life filled with love and happiness. Jack loved spending time and doing things with his fiancé and family especially his grandkids. They held a special place in his heart, loved his pizza. He had the biggest heart and will truly and deeply be missed.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022 in the Bookhout Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oneonta from 3:00 to 6:00 PM.
