I'm am saddened to hear this.  I grew up with Jack and his siblings in the deck and have many memories of them all.  I am truly sorry to all of you for this loss.. he was a great guy

I have looked at this obit so many times and no real words to express my feelings. Jack was one of the most caring, kind and soft-spoken people I have ever had the pleasure to meet or call a dear friend.  I had meet Jack through Karen 21 years ago. We had spent countless hours together and became true friends, and feel like family.  I will never forget the countless memories of Jack, or the sound of his soft spoken voice.  Loosing Jack, makes the world not seem right, and not fair to all he had to give.  His love and memories will go on, through all of his family and friends. <3 Until we meet again, my friend.

Jack was one of a kind he adored his kids grandkids and Karen with all of his heart. May he rest in peace.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Jack’s death.   Such a freak accident.  I only hope he didn’t suffer.   So young actually.
I was encouraged to learn that he had found his soul mate and had a happy life for many many years.  The testimonial by his stepdaughter was a beautiful tribute to him and i am so glad that he was in her life, as well as Karen’s.  Know that other’s care.  RIP Jack

karen and family im so sorry to hear that jack passed away my prayers and thoughts are will all of you karen the love you and jack shared will be forever he gave you so many memories and those memories will always be in your heart but they are the ones noone can steal and one day you two will be together forever

I want to start out saying jack was the best step dad you could ask for he was pretty much my father we had a lot of good conversation when he came home from work at night . I miss seeing him in morning when I get up to get my son on bus. My daughter loved waiting for poppy to come home so she could go right to poppy while he was eating his dinner and he would share with his granddaughter he uses to call monkey butt . He called my son James boots he always had nick names for his Grandchildren. I always remember jack saying how when I was younger I use to play peek a boo around the van with him when I was 5 with my pull-up on . I’m gonna truly miss you and your in a better place now I love u so much I also appreciate all you have did for my mom sisters and grandchildren I love u until we meet again 

Jack (my poppy) was an amazing man and a huge father role model in my life. From day one he was there for anything I needed even if it was just to talk. Even though he was my grandpa he was more like my dad more than anything. Our ranting sessions were always so relieving. He provided for me since day one like I was his own, and everytime I was in a bad mood he could still make me smile no matter how hard I tried not to. My heart hurts knowing the one man I knew I could look up to and count on is gone. Missing him each and every day!💙

He was amazing man I will always cherish or memory's we shared I love you honey rest easy from the love of your life

Jack is my only true brother.  Most people don't even know what a good big brother he was and, what a good man he became.  I love him with all my heart and it hurts to know he is gone.  I feel he took a lot of me with him and I'm on my own now.  As kids I used to follow him around and do the same "stupid" stuff with him.  He stood up to my bullies and protected me.  What a crazy great bowler he was! His first game was at Sam Lamonica's downstairs. I couldn't lift a ball so I just watched him bowl a 138 ! The sky was the limit after that!  I am so comforted that he found the love of his life, Karen and she feels the same way. For almost 21 years, Jack was happy!
