Ellen Marie Hewlett

She was born September 15, 1950 in Jamaica, Queens the daughter of Lawrence and Eleanor (Kelleher) Perry.

Ellen graduated from Delaware Academy the Class of 1969.

In 1976, Ellen met William Hewlett and they were married on June 26, 1976 at the Otego Presbyterian Church.

Ellen enjoyed going and visiting with friends, playing BINGO, cards and games. She loved and was proud and fiercely protective of her 5 kids, Jason, Daniel, Joel, Joshua and Sheri.

Ellen is survived by her loving husband, William Hewlett; five children, Jason Hewlett, Daniel Hewlett (Dominique), Joel Hewlett (Tommica), Joshua Hewlett and Sheri Hewlett; three grandsons, Julian, Yisra’el and Malekai; two brothers, Paul Perry (Pat) and Andrew Perry (Roseanne); two sisters, Marianne Johanson and Kathleen Jaeger (Jon); as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers, Tommy, Stephen, Michael and Larry, Jr.; two nephews, Stephen and Anthony; one niece, Tammy; and one brother-in-law, Jeff Johanson.

Family will greet guests on Saturday, March 29, 2025 beginning at 11:00 am at the West Oneonta Baptist Church. A Christian service to follow at 12:00 pm followed by a luncheon in the fellowship hall.
