He was born on September 20, 1932 in Maryland, the son of Clair and Bertha Hitchman.
Clyde worked for Asplundh Tree Service as a Foreman for 45 years.
A veteran of the US Army, Clyde was a member of the American Legion for 50 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved country music.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Robinson; his children, Steven and Connie Robinson, Doreen Gladle, Patricia and Willis Ferguson, Paul and Marcia Robinson, Sandra “sandy” Boshant, and Clair Patty; stepchildren, Gerald Clapper, and Ted Clapper; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Florence Robinson; a grandson, Steven Robinson II; and a stepdaughter, Shirley Clapper.
As per Clyde’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral.
