She was born May 3, 1966 in Goshen, the daughter of Stephen George Barron and Susan Mae Maillet.
Cheri graduated from Charlotte Valley, the class of 1984.
For many years, Cheri worked at Red Barrel where she met her future husband, Jeff. On June 22 1995, Cheri married Jeffrey J. Sullivan in Otego NY at the River Street Church. Most recently she worked as an assistant manager at TJ Maxx. She had such a strong work ethic and loved all of her work family. Cheri was an amazing beautiful woman who shined brightly and her smile was charismatic. Her presence was a true blessing.
Some of Cheri’s favorite places were the beach with her toes in the sand and at the dirt track races especially Afton and Fonda. She loved watching her favorite driver, Brandon Walters. She told Brandon she wanted him to win a track championship and sure enough he did. She was so proud.
She also loved popping popcorn and putting extra butter on it, watching Disney movies with her daughter, and getting her hair brushed. She was so happy to spend the holidays with her family but the best part was when her son Jeffrey came home from Japan. She’d always start her Christmas movies months before it was Christmas season. But what brought her the greatest joy was her family. She loved to have her family around and have her early morning coffee and news everyday with her husband. Once you met
Cheri you not only became her friend but you became family. She was kind, generous, and full of unconditional love. “Be good to yourself and be good to each other” was Cheri’s motto that will remain with the family forever.
Cheri is survived by her loving husband, Jeffrey J. Sullivan; two beautiful children, Mariah Mae Sullivan and Jeffrey Ryan Sullivan; four siblings, Lori (Matthew) Centerbar, Kelli (Wayne) Lathrop, Joseph Barron and Jennifer (Paul) Sullivan; five sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Donna (Steven) Banks, Mary (Eric) Scheer, Lyle Sullivan, John Sullivan and Judy Butler; many lifelong friends that were with her till the very end; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
