Anna was born to Alice J. Cope and George C. Maine on Jan. 28, 1958. She was raised in Gilbertsville along with 13 brothers and sisters.
Anna was a 1976 graduate of Gilbertsville Central School.
Anna married the love her life, Kent C. Kinsey, on Aug. 3, 1980. They recently celebrated their 41st anniversary.
Anna enjoyed multiple careers beginning with Carroll's restaurant and then moved on to work for Pizza Hut,
Amphenol and later dedicated her time at Corning where she retired in 2013 after 25 years.
Anna, the light of so many people's lives, leaves behind so many friends, family and neighbors.
Anna had a passion for butterflies, always loved having her tree full of eight hanging flower baskets on Mother's Day and enjoyed her hummingbird feeder outside her living room window.
Anna and her husband spent many days on the Butternut River and along the valley fishing, trapping, hunting and genuinely enjoying the outdoors.
Anna was predeceased by her parents along with several siblings.
She is survived by her husband, Kent C. Kinsey of Gilbertsville; daughter, Veronica L. (Kinsey) Fox (Cody J. Fox) and newborn grandson, Eli J. Fox of Floyd; son, Cole P. Kinsey (Alyssa McCann) and soon-to-arrive granddaughter of Otego; along with four dogs that she loved dearly, Cooter, Rudy, Sadie and Daisy.
Anna will be deeply missed by her family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Bookhout Funeral Home of Oneonta.
Services will be announced at a later date.
