He was born at Fox Hospital, the son of Allen and Beatrice Case on November 22, 1939. He lived in Otego, NY while growing up. He was educated at Otego Central School. In his 40s, he continued at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA majoring in Philosophy and Religion.
Most of his life he was a farmer and then a Sargent at the Oneonta City Police Department. He was also the Director of Dispute Resolution Centers of Chenango and Delaware Counties.
He was an avid reader. He loved American History, Western novels and Philosophy/Religion. He was one of the founders of Otego Trap and Gun, National Theistic Debating Society and Summa Apologia.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Gloria; his sons, Mark, Erin and Jeff; his stepchildren, Jodi Fitch and Joel Dwyer; his brother, George; plus several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren...plus wonderful friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring at The Pines Covered Bridge Gardens, Unadilla, NY. He said "When I go, I want to have a party."
