Alan Brian Smith

Alan "Albie" Brian Smith, Sr. passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was a true lover of animals, music and guitars. Alan was a former employee of Jamesway and one of the best representatives at H&R Block in Oneonta, New York.

Alan is survived by his wife, Sharolynn Guile, sister, Margaret "Peggy" Smith and husband, Howard; sister-in-law, Serita and son Jose; his son, Alan, Jr. and wife Sabrina; his daughter, Samantha Romanelli and husband, Thomas, with children, Gennaro, Gianna, Vivian and Lorelai; his sons, Perry and wife, Brittany and son, Lincoln, Russell and Steve Clement and son, Donovan and Gordon Aldrich 3rd; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends that he loved so dearly.

Alan was predeceased by his parents, Dorothy Smith and Sherman Smith, Sr. as well as brother, Sherman Smith, Jr.

A celebration of life will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 PM on 2025-02-21 at Bookhout Funeral Home, 357 Main Street.
