She spent the last few weeks surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and some great grandchildren.

Yvonne graduated at the age of 17 in Thurston, NE. She lived on a farm during her young years and later moved to Omaha. During her childhood, she was most fond of the memories of her horse, named “Dick”. Another favorite memory she talked about were the school teacher’s whom lived with her throughout her school years. They often walked to school together.
Yvonne earned a certification in business at Commercial Extension and later worked at the Vitamin Industry. She then became a devoted wife and mother to three.
Yvonne met her beloved husband, Edward Anthony Albracht at the Music Box in Omaha. They were engaged at Peony Park while dancing under the stars in January 1949. She received her engagement ring from Ed on April 10th and they were married on October 3, 1949.
She devoted her life to raising her children and being the best mom, grandmother and great grandmother she could be. She was also a great caretaker for her Aunt Florence and Uncle Leonard. She enjoyed having a garden with fresh vegetables and loved her peonies and rose bushes. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and baking pies. She had many special “traditional” meals that the family had when we were all together. A favorite was her spaghetti and meatballs, almost any kind of homemade pie and always had special K bars.
Yvonne was in a bowling league for many years at Maplewood Lanes. Later in life, she began walking at Westroads Mall where she and Ed met many of their great friends, many of whom she is still friends with. Yvonne loved to walk. She even got up during the night and walked 14 times with her nurse Jim one last time before being discharged from Methodist.
Yvonne was a very strong and devoted person. She loved being surrounded by people! She enjoyed talking to just about anyone! She was always willing to be a friend and help in any way she could! Rarely did she forget a name or your birthdate. To this day, she could tell you just about anyone’s birthdate in the family, including all the Albracht’s and all her friends. She was definitely a "numbers" person. Many of the cousins would say she was also a great predictor on the babies and tell you what you were having.
Yvonne enjoyed going to the VFW and Legion Club with her husband and with family and friends every Friday night for many years to eat, listen to music, and dance.
Yvonne was preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband Edward Anthony Albracht on February 18, 2009 and her wonderful sister-in-law Elizabeth “Betty” Burmeister.
Survivors include her 3 children, Renee Susan (Roland Mike) Moore of Omaha, NE., Glen Edward (Fern) Albracht of Salisbury, NC., Craig Loren (Kathy) Albracht of Newnan, GA., 7 Grandchildren: Nicole McCoy, Ryan (Sarah) Moore, Robert Moore, Brandy (Joe) Rider, Andrew (Sarah) Albracht, Kurtis (Juliana) Albracht and Keith (Kristin) Albracht, 11 Great Grandchildren: Twins, Ava Renee McCoy and Caleb Douglas McCoy, Reid Richard Moore, Luke Michael Moore, Calvin Ryan Moore, Blythe Levenia Rider, Palmer Josephine Rider, Scarlett Rae Albracht, Cooper Edward Albracht, Lorelei Yvonne Albracht and Eleanor Katherine Albracht
