Sharon was born in Kimball, NE and is the daughter of Shirley and the late Robert James Scott. Ms. Scott was a 1974 graduate of Platte Valley Academy and a 1979 graduate of Union College where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Sharon worked as a Registered Nurse for Shawnee Mission Hospital in Kansas, Randolph County Public Health in Missouri, and retired after 26 years fom the Veterans Administration Hospital in Omaha, NE. Sharon was a member of Statesville Seventh-day Adventist Church. She was an avid Elvis fan, collection all types of Elvis memorabilia, a NASCAR fan who rooted for the No. 24 car, and a lontime Green Bay Packers fan who would watch the Carolina Panthers after moving to North Carolina. Ms. Scott is survived by her mother, Shirly Scott (Salisbury, NC); her six siblings Jerry (Lynda) Teter (Salisbury, NC), Tom (Renata) Teter (West Palm Beach, FL), Sheila (Terry) Rushlau (Omaha, NE), Gaylan (Hanne) Scott (Fremont, NE), Linda (Bobby) Benjamin (Scottsdale, AZ), Gerald (Kathy) Scott (Chincoteague, VA); and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
