Preceded in death by parents, Harold and Hazel Hughes; and sister, Kathy (Gary) Miller. Survived by wife, Virginia Hughes; son, Toby (Alicia) Higgs; daughter, Tamara (Lewis) Nabity; grandchildren, Gabrielle Nabity, Grant Higgs, McKenzie Nabity, Abby (Brandon) Glotfelty, Lewis JR Nabity, and Gage Higgs; great grandchildren, Beckham Webb and Bonnie June Higgs; and nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Robert will be held Sunday, January 8, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Westlawn- Hillcrest Funeral Home. A funeral service will occur Monday, January 9, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106.
Robert will be laid to rest in Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park following services.
