Age 79 of Omaha. Born in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Margaret Doty; brother, Earl Doty Jr. Survived by son, Gregory Doty and wife, Deborah; daughter, Susan Koesters and husband, Jim; grandchildren, Ryan Doty, Samantha Koesters, Bodey Koesters; great grandson, Avery Doty; and many friends. Served in the U.S. Navy from 1951-1954, including the Korean War. Joined the Navy Seabees in 1958 and retired in 1980, with 29 years of military service. Member of VFW Post #247, DAV General MacArthur Post, American Legion 331, AMVETS Post 2, Eagles #38 and Mexican American Veterans.
VISITATION Friday 4-8pm, family present 5-8pm, VIGIL SERVICE 7pm at Crosby Colonial Chapel. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Saturday 10:30am at St. Peter Catholic Church, 2706 Leavenworth Street.
