Dick dedicated his life to serving others. He invested two decades sharing Christ as a youth sponsor at his church in Grand Island, NE. Dick served with Abide ministry in Omaha, NE and taught young men and women how to do construction projects in order to serve in their own communities. Dick and several other retired tradesmen started a ministry they titled the “Geezers”. Together these retired contractors spent time and talent repairing the homes of Omaha’s single mothers and widows. Dick Carpenter was a man of integrity who loved Jesus and lived a life that testified to what he believed. He is very loved and leaves a legacy of integrity and faith to all who had the privilege of knowing him!
