Patricia "Pat" Gail Holmes

Patricia "Pat" Gail Holmes, age 82, of Omaha, Nebraska passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023. Pat was born in November 17, 1940 Sarasota, Florida to the late R.E. Shepard and Flora Bella Sweeting Daly.

Preceded in death by her parents, R.E. Shepard and Flora Bella Sweeting Daly; her loving husband of 53 years, Thomas O. “Tom” Holmes; sons, Roy Thomas Holmes & Troy Curtis Holmes; sister, Shirley Hook; and brothers, Bernie Shepard, Gary Shepard, Gene Shepard, Ed Shepard, and Glenn Shepard.

She is survived by her son, Cory O Holmes of Omaha, NE; sisters-in-law, Kay Shepard of Sarasota, FL, Nancy Shepard of Tallahassee, FL & Ruby Chaszar of Kansas City, MO; and many nieces and nephews, other family, and close friends.

Pat was a woman of great character. She was known for her generous heart and love for her family. Pat was a collector of antiques and her beloved Teddy Bears. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She will forever be known as our Aunt Pat.

Visitation Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, with Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 pm.

Memorial Donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Ponca Hills Volunteer Fire Department, Omaha, NE
