Ed was born in Kansas City, Kansas. He moved to Omaha in 1957 with his wife Inamae and son. They settled in Carter Lake IA in 1959. Ed loved his family, his country, history and the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He was an advocate for justice. As a citizen, he considered it his duty to vote and contact his political representatives regarding both state and federal issues. He enjoyed taking care of his lawn, flowers and feeding his birds, ducks and squirrels.
When you visited and if you were lucky he would entertain you with stories about history. He was a great man who will never be forgotten and will always be loved.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude’s Hospital.
