Mabel Iona Betts, age 101, of Omaha, went to be with the Lord on Thursday December 20, 2018. Mabel was born July 12, 1917 to Albert and Emma Edie. Mabel is preceded in death by her loving husband Andrew Betts; daughter Geneva (Bob) Lipinski; Mabel is survived by her daughter, Carol DeLanie; sister, Pat Hanley; 6 grandchildren, Scott (Cindy) DeLanie, Rhonda DeLanie, Jim (Angie) DeLanie, Vicky Bartlett, Bobbi Jo Parker, Theresa (Ed) Donner; numerous great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life for Mabel will be held Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Westlawn Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center St., Omaha, Nebraska 68130.
