Kristin Kay Weiss, born on August 9, 1971, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2024. She was the beloved daughter of Robert “Mike” and Cheryl Kelley. She was admired by her stepmother, Kate Straka Kelley.
Kristin shared 25 wonderful years of marriage with her husband, Gerald (Jerry) Weiss. She was a devoted mother to Cheryl Kelley and Zach and Dakota Parks and a loving stepmother to Jaime White and David Weiss. Her life was further enriched by her five grandchildren: Jayden, Lacy and Logan White, Jace Kelley and Luna Parks. She was also a caring sister to her brother, Ryan Kelley. She was also admired by her half-brother, Dennis and sister, Leann.
Kristin found joy in spending time with her family, crafting heartfelt creations, and sharing her love through cooking. Her warmth and creativity left an indelible mark on those who knew her.
She was preceded in death by many loved ones whose memories she carried close to her heart.
A Celebration of Life will be held by her family to honor Kristin’s memory. May her legacy of love and kindness bring comfort to all who were fortunate enough to know her.
