Born on December 5, 1974, in Omaha, Keith spent his life rooted in the community where he was raised. His passion for creativity and craftsmanship was evident from a young age and remained a defining part of his life. Whether he was building intricate model cars, working under the hood of real ones, or expressing himself through artwork and drawing, Keith found joy in creating and sharing his talents with others. His sense of humor and love for joking around brought laughter to those around him and left lasting memories with all who knew him.
Keith is lovingly remembered by his wife, Alyssa Elsasser; his son Gage Elsasser and Gage’s wife Anna; and their daughter Lynora. He also leaves behind his sons Kaden Elsasser and Keller Elsasser. His family circle includes his father Lewis (Steve) Elsasser; his mother Mary Ann and stepfather Rick Thompson; his brother John Elsasser and nephew Liam; his sister Melissa and brother-in-law Steve Bonitz along with their children Taylor Paxton, JT Paxton, and Braxton Bonitz; as well as his brother Luke and sister-in-law Breanna Thompson with their children Kinsley and Nash Thompson.
Keith was preceded in death by his grandparents Gus and Louise Chiburis; his uncle Charlie Chiburis; and grandparents Lewis and Gwen Elsasser.
His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched with his humor, and creativity.
A Celebration of Life service will take place June 7, 2025 at 5:00pm with dinner to follow at Keith's parents' home, 2349 N. 69th St., Omaha, NE 68104.
