Kaye Doreen Blevins-Brown

Preceded in death by husband, Richard Blevins Sr.; son, Richard Jr.; parents, Lola and Hjalmer Salmen; and sister, Deloris Dedrick.

Survived by loving husband of 11 years, Willis Brown; daughters, Kyle (Mike) Kelly, Devany Godin-Flott & Marcy (Mark) Ellison; step daughter, Shelley Draur (Andrew Goerlitz); step son, David (Acacia) Brown; 9 grandchildren, Angie (Luke), Jaime (JC), Kirk (Whitney), Nathan, Nicole (Corey), Jacob, Erica (Kenny), Aaron (Catie) & Ryan (Lindsey); 5 step grandchildren, Amanda, Jessica, Ron, Hollie & Rebecca; 21 great grandchildren, Tyler, Trevor, Kylie, Capri, Bo, Jaydin, Jancye, Jenna, Rachel, Eli, Shayla, Nevaeh, Elijah, Isaiah, Adrean, Hanna, Maliyah, Makenna, Payton, Nolan & Baby Ellison; 12 step great grandchildren, Philip, Julianna, Lilly, Allen, Caleb, Aster, Ethan, Ronnie, Jason, Eliana, Randall & Kinsley.

Kaye attended school in Sturgis South Dakota; soon after, she married Richard Blevins Sr. and moved to Omaha, Nebraska where she raised her family. Kaye worked at Kellogg’s Company until she retired in 1996, married Willis Brown in 2008 and was an active member of Celebration Covenant Church.

VISITATION: Wednesday, October 2, 6-8pm at Westlawn-Hillcrest. FUNERAL SERVICE: Thursday, October 3 at 10am at Celebration Covenant Church, 16868 Giles Rd., with Burial to follow in Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park.
