Preceded in death by wife, Marlene; parents, Florence and Roger Stewart; sisters, Catherine Evans, Mary Eberhard, Janet Doescher, Margaret Shadbolt, and Florence Majeski; and brother, Roger Stewart.
Survived by sons, Trent Stewart, and Bryan (JulAnn) Stewart; grandsons, Joel (Jamie) Kiihne, Jared Stewart, and Justin Stewart; great-grandchildren Abram, and Lennon; and very dear friend, Barbara Basham.
A visitation for James will be held Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106, with a Rosary service to begin at 4:00 PM. A funeral mass will occur Monday, October 10, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2110 S 32nd Ave, Omaha, Nebraska 68105.
James will be laid to rest in Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106.
