Hilario, my dear Ángel , only if I had one more chance to see you.  Wherever you are please know you left your footprints in many many people.  You were an amazing human being and friend. I miss you so so much . I still remember last time you came to my house that was exactly a week before you left us . You came without notice . We talked for hours about life , love, plans , future,  our kids, our significant other ,  and more.  You were one of the only person I could tell anything without being judged . I Can still hear your voice and laughter . You had the most beautiful ear to ear smile that could cautívate anyone .  Just wanted to thank you for everything Hilario . I love you so much . 

Hilario. I’ll never forget the memories we made during the time we spent living together as roommates ..You, Angie, Andres and I (and all the kids) I always thought of you as a brother to me and the times that I struggled I remember sitting on the porch steps and you always listened to me. You gave me the best advice you had, and our friendship continued on after we moved out. Eliana loved you and was excited to spend the summer with Eva swimming in your pool and riding the bike. The day before you left us they were so excited, i can hear their laughter talking about it just echoing in my head. I wish i could have warned you, or said something to make a difference. I suppose that is how everyone feels, especially those family who loved you and are hurting far greater. I think you left an impact on everyone you met. I never failed to laugh when we were all together. I promise to be there for Eva and Angie and protect them and be the greatest sister/auntie that i possibly can. I know that wherever you are, there is a corona and a room full of people laughing. Til we meet again brother.

I met Hilario (Lario) on many occasions while doing my job at COX. Infact the week before he was taken from us all, I had the pleasure of working with him again on a very important project that needed an expert on restoring services after a cable cut over. He came right over, took the issue at hand and within an hour he had it where it needed to be. 
We visited a bit and let me tell you, he was and is a very impressive person. My son started in the same training class as Lario and shared with me that he had just spent a short time catching up with him and he is also grieving with us all. 
May God have mercy upon Lario. May He welcome him into His arms and hold him until we meet again in paradise. Rest in peace my friend.

Oh Hilario. We have known each other since elementary school all the way through high school. Our 10 year reunion was the last time I got to see you. Which happened to be the anniversary recently. I am so sorry to the family. I hope you guys find some kind of peace. I will be praying for all of you and his friends and Karen family. We lost a kind and loving soul. Someone who never had a hurtful thing to say. That’s how I can remember him. Just a guy who always had a smile on his face.
