George Roy Friend Jr.

George Friend Jr. was born October 10, 1980 to George and Melony Friend. He is the third born of 4 children, the only boy. He married Andrea Lungstrum on October 30, 2004 and had daughter Rylei Jo Friend on October 23rd 2012. He was a devoted father, husband, uncle, brother, son, nephew, cousin a great man. He carried on the family business when George Sr. passed away in December of 2017. He was a surrogate father to his niece and nephew and would take them fishing and mushroom hunting. He enjoyed deer hunting with his father, brother-in-law and nephews; fishing with the family, boating, camping, and just spending time with the family. He criticized everyone’s cooking and thought he was Chef BoyarGee.

George Jr. is preceded in death by his father, George R. Friend Sr.; paternal grandparents, Melba and Robert Demster and William Friend; maternal grandparents, Melvin and Margaret Hefti and Elmer Johnson; aunt, Carolyn Campbell; uncles, Joseph Cruver, William Friend, and Earl Gillenwater; cousins, Alexis Hansen and Steven Weaver; and dogs, Nola, Tequila, and Chopper.

He is survived by wife of 16 years, Andrea Friend; daughter, Rylei Friend; mother, Melony Friend; sisters, Regina Schrock, April (Jason) Ryan, Crystal (Jon) Welch; nephews, Zane Schrock, Skyler Ryan, and Brenden Welch; nieces, Neely Schrock, Breana Welch, Kiera Friend, Delilah "Dilly Dilly" George Hartin, and Harmony Hartin; mother-in-law, Judy VanHorn; brother-in-law, Dylan VanHorn; various aunts, uncles, and cousins.
