Frank J. Marek, born February 10, 1944. He passed away August 15, 2022 at 7:54 am with his wife and daughter beside him. Frank grew up in South Omaha where he graduated high school in 1962 from Omaha South High. He later met is wife, Gayle, and was married on October 3, 1970. Frank was a lifelong truck driver and I'm sure you have heard stories. Once retired, Frank really enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Frank J. Marek is proceeded in death by his parents, George and Ann Marek. He is survived by his wife, Gayle. His son Adam (Teri) Marek, his daughter Amanda (Josh) Lary. 5 grandchildren, Madison, Dominicus, Grayson, Levi, and Makenzie. Numerous family and friends.
A visitation for Frank will be held Thursday, August 18, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106. A rosary will occur Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 7:00 PM, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106. A funeral mass will occur Friday, August 19, 2022, at 10:00 AM at St. Gerald Catholic Church, 9602 Q St, Ralston, Nebraska.
