Age 69. She was born in Kinston, NC to Thomas (Sam) and Nancy Smith. Faye radiated pure love for family and friends. She cared deeply about others and had a bright personality that lit up the world of anyone she was in contact with. She will be admired for her unconditional love, generosity, compassion, and enormous patience. Faye is survived by her husband, Rick Loftin; son, Greg Nichols and wife, Barbara, of Kinston, NC; daughter, Tracy Bailey and husband, Clark, of Jacksonville, FL; daughter, Shelly Thigpen and husband, Steven, of Hickory, NC; 7 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. Visitation Monday, May 9th 6-8pm, receiving friends and loved ones at funeral home.
