Thank you for celebrating the life of Evelyn Mae (Lynn) Labenz with us today. She was born a twin to Arthur and Flora Love on May 3, 1930, on a rural farm outside Des Moines, Iowa. In the back of her address book, she listed “Mom” as her most cherished role; though, proud to be a wife, a registered nurse, volunteer in the community, and member of various groups over the years. She had strong faith in God, often saying Jesus was her right-hand-Man. She was always up for a party, and loved fun and laughter - including a good joke! She will be dearly missed by LaVern, her husband of almost 64 years, her “6 J’s,” 20 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and countless other family and friend
