Edith Bear Storms, 94, passed away in Des Moines, Iowa, on December 17, 2011.
Edith is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Bear) Smalley; son-in-law, Cork Smalley; step-son, Bob Storms; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Opal Kriebs; and her 100 year old brother, Alvin McGeorge.
Edith was a dedicated servant at Wheeler Memorial. She was a very active member of Ada Chapter, Eastern Star, PEO, Daughters of the Nile, Sweet Adelines. Her passion was to decorate for these organizations. She retired from the M.U.D. She lived at the Masonic Manor for 20 years before moving to Des Moines, IA.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 10 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. at Wheeler Memorial Presbyterian Church at 23rd and J, Omaha, Nebraska. Interment Graceland Park Cemetery.
