Don had a passion for baseball, he served the Ralston American Legion Baseball team for over 25 years. Don had a passion for woodworking. He made several cribs, wood toys, shelving units, table stands, bookshelves, and much more. He was the family story and joke-teller.
We would like to thank our dear family members and all of our friends who came to us in a time of need. A very special thank you to Echo Hills Assisted Living staff. Don was known as “Papa Trouble” and the staff referred to Don and Sharon’s apartment as the “Candy Shop”. Your loving, gentle caring support and guidance are what has helped us.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
For the Fallen by Laurence Binyon.
