Darrell Duane Cox was born September 5, 1933 in Great Bend, Kansas to Ross and Wanda Cox. Darrell graduated from Central High School in Omaha and University of Nebraska at Omaha. Darrell married Sandra J. Cox on August 20, 1955. Darrell became a Captain as a fighter pilot in the United States Air Force. After his military service, he was a long-time member in the Midwest Aerobatic Club and worked as a mechanical engineer and project manager for various companies. After retiring to Arkansas, his hobbies included woodcarving and photography. With his love for aviation, he was involved in the restoration of military aircrafts. He was also very active in their church and Men's chorus in Bella Vista, AR.
Preceded in death by parents. Survived by wife Sandy, sons Brett (Jodi) and Kevin (Deb), grandson Connor, sister Karyl, and nieces and nephews.
