D'Anna was raised by her mother and the helping hands and care of her Godparents in Omaha.
During her youth, she was the fun and energetic kid. She had struggled through some life issues
with her health and periodically different addictions. When D'Anna turned 20, she became
a single parent and had her first child, Da'Nautica LaShay Nichole Thomas on March 22, 2002, raised
by D'Anna's mother Dorothy. Then followed by two other children: a daughter, Erin LaShay Harrington, Born on December 26th 2005, was put up for adoption and Jayland Ja'Shun Jenkins, Born on May 6th 2011,
who also was put up for adoption.
D'Anna had been diagnosed with Lupus Disease roughly around the year 2003. Although
her health was like a rollercoaster ride, she managed to stay strong until her untimely passing.
D'Anna is survived by daughter Da'Nautica LaShay Nichole Thomas; mother Dorothy D.Thomas (Craig E. Weaver); brother Jason Lee Thomas, aunts, uncles and other family and friends
A Graveside service for D'Anna will be held Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, Omaha, Nebraska
