Tomorrow night marks 1 month since you left us. I miss you and still hurt like it was yesterday. I wish I could have just one more moment with you. I love you Granny.

I am so sorry for the loss of your Wife, Mom, Grandma, Sister and Friend.  Annette was a good friend we grew up with in Blackduck/Hines, Minnesota.  Her twin sister was married to my brother, and her brother is married to my sister.  I'm sure she leaves a huge empty place in your lives and our prayers are with you.

Annette was such a loving and caring lady. I used to live in Kingswood when my children were small. She started Vacation Bible school for all the children in the neighborhood. The kids all loved her and going to her classes. I had the opportunity to see her almost a year ago for lunch and we had the chance to visit. She was still the same happy person I remembered from years ago. Heaven has indeed gained another angel.

My name is Katherine Maki (Katie). My grandma was my saving grace when no one else was there for me. I miss her every second of everyday. We had so many adventures together. So many laughs and so many tears. We were one in the same. She was more a mother to me than a grandma. She taught me patience, love, kindness, compassion, humbleness, and the list goes on. The world is colder now that she is gone.I can still hear her in the wind. I know she doesn't want us to cry over her but to be jealous she got to meet Jesus first. She is dearly loved and missed by many.

This is Melissa, one of her granddaughters. I just found and read though these messages. Thank you for your kind words and wonderful stories.  She was truly an amazing person who loved people and Jesus!! She wants to see you all in Heaven when Jesus returns! I remember going to Montclair Nursing home once and painting the little ladies nails.  It was fun to join in on one of the ways she would reach out to people. Grandma had a way of making you feel so special!  I love her so much!!  On her casket, made by my uncle it said, I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.  She lived for Christ and Christ lived in her and she bore MUCH fruit!!

Annie was a wonderful volunteer at Montclair Nursing & Rehab Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

She always had a smile, a hug, a pat on the shoulder and/or kind words for residents who lived there. She loved to reach out and help residents play Bingo, and she sometimes painted fingernails for the ladies who lived there.

Annie was a first class lady and a first class volunteer. 

I pray that loved ones and all her friends will be as uplifted by their wonderful memories of her as I am.

I feel blessed to have been able to know and learn from such a good and wonderful Christian lady.

Thank you, dear God, for letting Annie be part of our lives at Montclair Care Center & Rehab.

The prim and proper lady

On a closer look we noticed
Her intently writing and reading
With an open Bible close
No longer will we see Annie's smile
But, for those who are redeemed

Our deepest sympathy to Paul Sr., the kids & grandchildren of Annie.  All who knew her have been blessed and are richer for having known her.  She was a truely loving person who exemplified I Cor 13: 4-7

Annie was a great neighbor and friend. My family knew her and her family for many years. She lead me to know Jesus as my Lord and Savior. John 3:16.   Ann Drebot   (Omaha, Ne.) and Family.

My thoughts and prayers to Paul and all of those Annie touched in this lifetime.  I know her granddaughter Megan thought the world of her - what a special bond they had.  Meg - Hold onto the memories.   

The picture of Annie is what I will always remember of her - always a smile and such a sweet voice.  Godspeed!

I am so saddened to learn of Annie's passing.  I have fond memories of Annie over the years - she was always so gracious, gentle and kind-hearted.  Annie and family included and made me feel as if I was a part of their family!  Annie truly demonstrated God's love to all she met.  May you rest in God's peace!  My prayers are with Paul and all the family at this time.
