May 28, 1937-September 7, 2022
Albert Brouillard passed away peacefully at CHI Health Immanuel Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. He was the son of Emile Brouillard and Yvette "Louise" Bouchard and was raised in Sanford, Maine. He served as an Air Policeman in the Air Force, where he received a Good Conduct Medal. He married Maureen Ann Kleffner on January 19, 1957. Albert could fix anything, and his careers included many years working maintenance at Pepsi and Skinner, driving an 18-wheeler across the country, and owning his own gas station. His work ethic allowed him to retire early and live his dream on Beaver Lake. He was an avid fisherman, loved camping, was an outstanding left-handed bowler, occasionally listened to Kenny G, enjoyed seafood in Maine, and was a fearless mushroom hunter. He will be remembered for his dry sense of humor and his sparklingly stubborn disposition.
Albert is survived by his wife of 65 years, Maureen A. Brouillard (Kleffner); Son Edward (Brenda); Son Richard (Marcy); Daughter Teresa Marco; Sister Rita Rivard (Ronald); Brothers Paul Brouillard (Peggy) and Leo Brouillard (Peggy); 10 grandchildren: Angie Scobee, Candace McMillion, Maxwell Brouillard, Danielle Hutchison, Devin Brouillard, Misty Afrank, Wendy Afrank, Keith Marco, Frank Marco, and Trever Marco; 2 step-grandchildren: Amanda Gehrke and Andrew Mortensen and 18 great-grandchildren. Albert was preceded in death by daughters, Dianna Brennan and Rose Afrank; and Brother Joseph Roger Brouillard.
A private service was held by the family.
