Kenneth Aksel Myrvold - On Thursday, May 22, 2014, Ken Myrvold of Oliver BC, formerly of Fort Saskatchewan, AB, passed away peacefully with his wife Margaret by his side, at the Penticton Regional Hospital. He was 76 years old. Ken is survived by his loving wife Margaret; daughter Vicki (Jean) Sabourin; son Randy (Julie) Myrvold; grandchildren, Kristopher (Orissa) Sabourin, Ashley Myrvold, Jessica Myrvold; great-grandchild, Waylon Sabourin; mother-in-law, Marjorie McKercher; brother, Donald Myrvold; sister-in-laws, Marilyn Myrvold, Jean (Clinton) Martindale; brother-in-law, Les (Joy) Braden, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Aksel and Beda Myrvold; brother Charles Myrvold; sister-in-law Ester Myrvold; father-in-law,Tom McKercher. In keeping with Ken’s wishes there will not be a formal funeral service. It was his wish that his passing be marked by a small gathering of his family and the friends who live nearby his home in Oliver, and for the many friends and extended family who live further afield to simply take a moment to remember him in their own way.
