Dorothy Johanne Chandler Robinson

1912 ~ 2013

Sadly we advise of the passing of Dorothy Robinson, peacefully at home, on April 19, 2013 in Osoyoos, BC at the age of 101 years.

Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her family: Patricia Marie (Hal) Krieger of Osoyoos and Donna J. (Ian) Thompson of Richmond, Alan Devitt, Joane Godfried, George R. Robinson, and Leslie A. Robinson; 17 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.

Dorothy had a wonderful sense of adventure, and enjoyed every new challenge. She learned the computer at the age of 80. She loved travelling, camping and hunting and was awarded the 'Dominion Marksman' in her early years. She loved her garden dearly - and will long be remembered for her community involvement in Osoyoos, setting up Eggstravaganza, co-ordinating the Cherry Fiesta and helping establish Sagebrush Lodge.

Her spontaneity, positive attitude and determination contributed to her longevity.

Dorothy's funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday April 25, 2013 at Graham Funeral Home, 5920 Kootenay Street, Oliver BC. Interment in Lakeview Cemetery, Osoyoos, BC will follow.
