Teresa Ann Brown

Teresa Ann Brown, 55, of Olive Branch, MS went to be with the Lord on March 19, 2025. Teresa was born on April 15, 1969, in Memphis, TN to the late William Claude and Andrea Lee Smith. She is a 1987 graduate of Olive Branch High School. After high school, she went on to attend Northwest MS Community College and Delta State University where she graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She has worked as a teacher for DeSoto County Schools for 30 years. In her time with DCS she taught at Southaven Elementary, Olive Branch Elementary, DeSoto Central Elementary, and most recently Horn Lake Elementary. In her free time, she enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren who affectionately called her “Nini”. Teresa will be remembered for her kind spirit by all who knew and loved her. She was a believer in Jesus Christ and a member of First Baptist Church of Olive Branch. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Daniel Brown; daughter, Stephanie Sawyer (Chris); daughter, Jessica Turner; son, Daniel Brown, II (Elissia); daughter, Amber Timms (Codey); grandchildren: Claudia Williams, James Turner, Joshua Turner, Julie Turner, Jackson Frye, Bradley Brown, Davina Brown, Amara Brown, Beau Henry Timms, and one on the way; sister, Denise Taylor; brother, Jason Smith (Julia); and many nieces and nephews.
