Sylvia Mason Matthews, 78, of Southaven, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017. Sylvia was a graduate of Olive Branch High School and a member at First Baptist Church in Southaven. Preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Carrie Lee Mason, brothers Howard, Lewis, James Stuart and Larry Mason; sister Marie Medlin; a granddaughter Erin Matthews. She is survived by her children Mike (Kelly) and Kristi Matthews; a brother, Bobby Mason; three Grandchildren Kathryn, McKenna and Micah Matthews; Also many nieces and nephews. Funeral services are Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm with the service to immediately follow at 3:00 pm at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS 38654. Burial will take place at Blocker Cemetery.
