Sarah Clark Holt

Sarah Craig Holt, 87, of Olive Branch, MS, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at Hermitage Gardens in Southaven. The family will receive friends beginning at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 11, and funeral services will follow at 3 p.m., all at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch. Interment will be at Spring Hill Cemetery in Charleston, MS. Born in Charleston to the late Reuben and Ive Lou Craig, Mrs. Holt was an active member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Olive Branch for 21 years. Sarah was preceded in death by her husband of more than 60 years, Henry H. Holt. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Kenny Arwood; her son and daughter-in-law, Henry and Linda Holt; 3 grandsons, Alex Arwood, Charlie Holt, and Hunter Holt, all of Chattanooga, TN; and her devoted brother-in-law and caregiver, George Holt of Tupelo, MS. The family wishes to thank the entire staff at Hermitage Gardens for their loving and attentive care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
