Richard Lee “Ricky” Howell, 65, of Olive Branch, MS passed away on February 20, 2023. Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, Leldon and Emily Howell; and brothers: Jerry Howell, Michael Howell, and Billy Howell. He is survived by his wife of 6 years, Lynette “Nettie” Howell; son, Victor Norberg (Shayla); daughter, Melissa Norberg; daughter, Megan Norberg; son, Richard Howell, Jr.; brother, Larry Howell (Debbie); brother, David Howell; brother, Terry Howell (Nikki); sister, Barbara Lawrence (Willie); sister, Brenda Hunter (Walter); grandchildren, Jason Norberg and Gemma Norberg; and many nieces and nephews. Ricky worked for many years with Insulation Refractories Service. In his free time, he enjoyed camping with his family, fishing, going to the casino, going to auctions, and working on old cars. He was a kind and giving man with a great sense of humor. His family meant the world to him and he was a loving husband, father, and brother. To know him was to love him and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him. A memorial gathering will be held at Brantley Funeral Home on Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 4-6 pm.
