Olive Branch - Paul H. Lewis, 89, beloved husband and friend, died July 6, 2013 at his home. He was born in Memphis, TN. on December 3, 1923. There will be a gathering of friends Monday, July 8 from 5-7 p.m. and service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 9, all at the First Baptist Church in Olive Branch MS. Interment will take place in Forest Hill Mid-town in Memphis, TN. A Navy Veteran who served in WWII and the Korean War, he retired from Union Electric after 36 years before spending decades volunteering at The Salvation Army, the USO and Baptist Desoto Hospital. He was a Mason and Shriner. He had a heart for service and will always be remembered for helping those in need. He is survived by his wife of almost 70 years, Bobbie Lewis, and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Wounded Warriors Project.
