Morris Leon Brandon

Morris Leon Brandon, 86, of Wakefield, MS, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2016. Mr. Brandon was retired from Trunkline Gas Co. after 38 years and was a Deacon and member of New Hope Baptist Church. Mr. Brandon was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth Brandon, two brothers, and two sisters. He is survived by his wife, Leola Brandon, two daughters, Debbie Woody and Marla Treadway (Terry), one step-son, Austin Gross (Elaine) and one step-daughter, Joyce Chrestman (Raiford), four sisters, Ethelene Strange, Avis Marr, Betty Young, and Carolyn Riley, one brother, Carl Brandon, two grandchildren, Justin Treadway and Jordan Treadway, two great-grandchildren, Sawyer Treadway and Noah Treadway, four step-grandchildren, Kevin Gross, Jeff Gross, Scott Chrestman, and Steve Chrestman, and five step-great-grandchildren, Chandler Chrestman, Kasey Chrestman, Ben Chrestman, Landon Gross, Turner Gross. The family will receive friends Friday, July 22, 2016 from 12:30pm until the service begins at 2pm, all at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS 38654. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
