Mary Elaine Morris

Mary Elaine Morris, 73, of Olive Branch, MS passed away on March 5, 2024 surrounded by family and friends. Ms. Morris was born on August 29, 1950 to the late Jack and Kaptola Morris. She is a 1968 graduate of Oakhaven High School. She worked for the City of Memphis as a city court clerk until her retirement after 28 years of service. In her free time, she enjoyed antiquing, cooking for her family and friends, and traveling. Her favorite trip she took was to Paris, France. Ms. Morris was a kind and caring lady with a servant’s heart. She had a special place in her heart for children. She is survived by her sister, Dianne Osborne (Mike Jumper); brother, James Miller (Phyllis); niece, Whitney Camp; nephew, Ross Miller; and her fur babies, Mattie and Sophie. A memorial gathering will be held at Brantley Funeral Home on Friday, March 8, 2024 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in her honor to LeBonheur Children’s Hospital or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
