Lois is survived by four daughters: Marcie Stafford of Gore Springs, MS; Peggy (Shirrl) Jeffries of Independence, MS; Ann (Rev. Billy) Saxon of Olive Branch, MS; Jodi (Ronnie) Yeager of Collierville, TN; and two sons Edgar Stafford Jr. and Mark (Angel Richard) Stafford both of Olive Branch, MS; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Edgar Stafford, Sr., her daughter -in - law Peggy McCullar Stafford, one granddaughter, one great-granddaughter, five brothers and four sisters.
Lois was the youngest girl born to Pickett & Winnie Baldwin on July 10, 1923 in Pleasant Hill, MS.
Throughout her life, Lois worked along side her husband farming, running a dairy, and building a successful drywall business. She helped start several churches in North Mississippi. Most recently she attended The Summit Church in Hernando, MS. Lois loved the color red, Hank Williams Sr.'s music, and dancing.
Family and friends will gather on Tuesday evening from five o'clock until eight o'clock in the evening and funeral services will be on Wednesday beginning at ten o'clock in the morning all at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum Street, Olive Branch, MS.
