Kerry Nowell, 79, of Olive Branch, MS, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 22, 2019. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Linda; daughter, Staci Gill (Scott) and granddaughter, Sarah Gill.
Also his siblings; brother, Harry Nowell (Ginny), sisters; Oletha Ann Wallace, Donna Bushart (Ernest) and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; James T. and Nellie Nowell, sisters; Doris and Elizabeth, brothers; Thomas and Jim.
The family will receive friends 5pm - 7pm, Sunday, February 24, 2019 at the Longview Heights Baptist Church at 4501 Goodman Rd. Olive Branch, MS. A celebration of life service will be 10am Monday, February 25, 2019 at the church with burial to follow at Autumn Woods Cemetery.
Kerry was a graduate of Crockett County (TN) High School and joined the U. S. Air Force at the age of 17, serving from 1956 - 1961. He became a glazier shortly thereafter and began his career at Pittsburg Plate Glass, worked at Binswanger Glass in Memphis and retired from Triple N Glass in 2001.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching his granddaughter, Sarah, play sports or any activity that she was involved in.
Memorials can be made to MD Anderson Cancer Center, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Longview Heights Baptist Church Building Fund or the charity of the donor's choice.
