Kathy Bishop, 70, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 13, 2021 surrounded by her family in Byhalia, MS. She was born on November 21, 1950 to the Late Howard and Margie Ward in Memphis, TN. Kathy was a lively woman who loved to travel. In her words, she would say she had a traveling bone and loved going to places. She loved painting, tending to her garden of flowers, and had a passion for dogs. Kathy worked in accounting for 40 plus years before retiring. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. As her favorite saying goes, “Smile, sunshine is good for your teeth.” Kathy leaves behind her loving husband of 30 years, David Bishop; her daughter, Melanie Johnson (John), and her sister, Patti Barber. She also leaves behind two grandchildren, John Johnson, Jr. “Jay”, Taylor Creekmore (Chris), and two great grandchildren, Braiden and Memphis Creekmore.
