Johnathan Lane Rodgers, age 10 of Byhalia, MS, died Saturday, June 13, 2015 in Tupelo, MS. Lane loved baseball, sports and the Ole Miss Rebels. He was a member of the Mid-South Storm Baseball Team. Lane is survived by his parents; Ashley Blackard Smith (Allen Smith) and John Wesley Rodgers, two sisters, Ciera Justice, Allie Smith, a brother, Blane Smith, Grandparents; Terry and Carla Rodgers and Michael and Sharon Blackard. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 16, 2015 from 1pm – 2pm with Funeral Services at 2pm at the Byhalia United Methodist Church, 2511 Church St., Byhalia, MS. Burial will follow in the Byhalia Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Brantley Funeral Home, Olive Branch, MS.
