John "Johnnie" Buford White, Jr., 83, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2017. Mr. White was born September 16, 1934 to the late John and Mary Elizabeth White. He served his country in the United States Army from June 11, 1957 to June 10, 1959. Johnnie was an active member of Bethel Presbyterian Church where he served as a Deacon. He is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Glenda Mae White, and his sister, Melanie Wilkinson. Johnnie is survived by his two daughters, Diane Marie White Thornton (John), and Carol Ann White; a granddaughter, Casey Sapp (Bradley) and two great grandsons, Brayden and Preston Sapp. Family will receive guests on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am with the service to immediately follow at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, Ms 38654.
