JIM H. HARP, 77, passed away, peacefully at home on May 26, 2011. Jim was born in Memphis on May 13, 1934. He spent most of his adult life in Jackson, MS managing Harp Safety Company. He is survived by his wife, JoAnn, three children, Michael Weeks, Cindy Walker, Deborah Maxwell, seven grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and two brothers, Tommy Harp of Hernando, MS and Richard Harp of Sheridan, AR. After retirement, he returned to Memphis, where he enjoyed playing golf, drawing and painting beautiful pictures. Visitation will be Saturday, May 28 beginning at 10 a.m. until funeral services to follow at 11 a.m. at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch, MS. The burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery on Poplar Avenue in Memphis behind the stone wall.
