He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Miller Sparkman of Alto, TX and sister, Lois Brunt of Tyler, TX.
Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Rebecca, four sons, Emmitt and Lisa of Olive Branch, MS, Kelly and Kim of Slocum, TX, Paul of Montalba, TX. and Chad and Angie of Palestine, TX., Two sisters Emal Rogers of Alto, TX and Sally Michel of Lampasas, TX, ten grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
According to his wishes he will be cremated. There will be no visitation or services.
