James Herbert Smith

James Herbert Smith, 74, of Victoria, MS passed away on August 25, 2022. Herbert served in the United States Navy from 1967-1971 in Corpus Christi, TX in avionics. He is survived by his wife, Glenda Faye Smith; brother, Richard Smith(Jillian) of Memphis, TN. He also leaves behind three children: Michael Smith, Kimberly Beal, and Amy D. Hess(Jim); grandsons: Christopher(Janea), Justin(Ann), Michael D., and James; granddaughters: Kayla, Katelyn, Kristin, Cody(Jess), and Alec; and great-grandchildren: Tyler, Kara, Ulvia, and one on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents, James B. and Louise Smith; and brother, Fred W. Smith. A memorial gathering will be held at Brantley Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 5-7 pm. All are welcome to come celebrate his life with family and friends.
